The difference between dated and updated in a bedroom is often just one element. Here's how a single day of work changes a room — told through four real Orange County installations.

Before-and-after home improvement is usually about kitchens. But the most dramatic single-day bedroom transformation we do consistently is mirror closet door replacement — because most Southern California bedrooms were built with the same dated brass-frame bypass hardware, and the new options are genuinely beautiful.

The most common replacement we do: original brass frame, slightly hazy mirror, on a track that’s been jumping for two years. Out comes the whole assembly — track, panels, bottom guide. In goes a frameless Capitol system in flat black with a matched dark track. The room doesn’t look renovated; it looks like it was always designed that way.

Primary suites with 8- and 9-foot closet openings used to have a practical problem: no matter how nice the doors looked, two-panel bypass meant you were always shuffling panels to get to the back corner. Triple-track fixes this by running three panels on three channels — every section of the closet is accessible at once. The track itself is wider but sits close to the ceiling and nearly disappears.

Some bedrooms have closet openings that span most or all of a wall. For these, a purpose-built wardrobe door system — rather than a standard bypass kit — gives you better hardware, better finish options, and a more intentional look. The top track profile is lower-profile and the panel options include painted glass and wood-look finishes that a standard mirror door kit can’t offer.

Every bedroom shown here was a single-day installation. We arrive with the custom-cut panels and new track hardware, spend two to four hours on-site, and leave with the old hardware. The homeowner goes to work in the morning and comes home to a different bedroom.
We serve Orange County, LA County, and the Inland Empire. Free estimates — fast installation.
