We now turn wood interior door panels into triple track sliding closet doors on McCoy aluminum headers and stainless steel tracks, for openings over 200 inches wide and up to 96 inches tall.
Sliding closet doors have always forced a trade-off. A mirror or aluminum-frame door slides easily, but it rarely matches the wood doors in the rest of the house. A wood door looks right, but a heavy wood panel on ordinary sliding hardware can feel clunky. At The Door Replacement Company, we now offer a way to have both: solid wood sliding closet doors on a triple track system.

We take regular wood interior door panels, the same style as your bedroom and hallway doors, and turn them into sliding triple track closet doors. The hardware comes from McCoy Doors:
The result is a blend of both worlds: the look and solid feel of a real wood door, with the convenience and comfort of a sliding aluminum door.

Because each panel runs on its own track, this system works for closets that standard bypass doors can’t cover well. We can build closet doors for openings over 200 inches wide and doors up to 96 inches (8 ft) tall. With three panels stacking to one side, you can open about two-thirds of the closet at once.

We source wood doors from Builders Choice through OrePac, in shaker, traditional panel, Craftsman and contemporary styles. They come in fir, knotty alder, knotty pine, or primed and ready to paint. If your home has knotty alder doors, your closet can too. If your doors are painted shaker, we match that.
